Environmental Works – Creation of wetlands and ponds which provide natural habitats for wildlife. River treatment including minewater discharge, reed ponds created, river diversion and filtering of the minewater. Creation of River Berms to provide a safe habitat for fish and wildlife on the river banks.

Bulk Earthworks – The removal of large quantities of materials from site down to level, ready for construction of car parks, buildings, etc.

Site Clearance – Demolition and clearance of buildings, breaking out of hardstandings and foundations, removal of topsoil and vegetation in preparation for earthworks.

Reclamation/Remediation – reclaiming land which has had a prior use (brownfield sites), this might include taking out hardstandings and car parks, the land may need stabilisatiion work prior to building use. Some land may be contaminated, this will need to be remediated prior to any work being carried out on the area.

Landscaping – the creation of footpaths, ponds, ditches, topsoiling, grass seeding and planting to enhance the landscape. We carry out this type of work in the form of groundworks around buildings and also in the countryside to improve the visual impact of environmental and earthworks.

Flood Alleviation Works – creation of ponds, flood plains, dams, raising embankments are all carried out to protect the population as well as the environment against flooding during excessive rainfall.
